The 530-2D Omni-Directional bar code scanner features a USB keyboard interface and reads both 2D matrix bar codes along with standard 1D barcodes!

The 530-2D USB Bar Code Scanner brings easy 2D bar code scanning to Worth Data customers! The 530-2D is a tethered USB keyboard output gun scanner that will easily connect to any PC running Windows or macOS. Scanned data is displayed on the computer as keyboard data - transparent to any application you are running. Just scan a bar code and the data will appear wherever your cursor is placed.

The 530-2D reads both 2D matrix bar codes as well as standard 1D barcodes.  It has a great reading range of 14" (35cm) from 100% EAN codes, can read very high density bar codes, plus it has a 3 year warranty - Cost £229 / €275 including a USB cable.

  530-2D USB Details

Using the 530-2D reader to scan bar codes is easy since it is housed in our lightweight and rugged handle that is designed for all day comfort.  The 530-2D is a rugged scanner built to operate in tough environments with a rugged black polycarbonate/ABS housing, a rubber shock bumper surrounding the head and a recessed scratch resistent optical coated exit window for long lasting durability. The USB cable was also engineered to withstand over 1 million bends before failure. Our optional hands-free stands are also available to use with these scanners to allow presentation scanning and offers easy switching between hands-free and handheld modes.

This scanner reads omni-directionally - simply point and shoot! No matter how the bar code is oriented, the 530-2D provides a quick and accurate read, plus there is a LED aiming spot that helps to locate the bar code in the best spot for scanning.  You don't have to position the label in perfect alignment to scan a bar code, just point the helpful aiming dot at the bar code you want to read (as shown below) and it the scanner will read that code instantly.

The 530-2D reader also provides scanning of 2D bar codes such as PDF417, MicroPDF417, MaxiCode, DataMatrix (ECC 2000), Composite Codes, Aztec, QR Code, and MicroQR Code, as well as the Postal Codes USPS Intelligent Mail Bar Codes. US Postnet, US Planet, UK Postal, Japan Postal, Australian Postal, and Dutch Postal.

The 530-2D warranty is 3 years and it is only £229 / €275 including a rugged USB cable.
